When you wake up and immediately check your phone or turn on the TV, you're being bombarded with troubling news headlines, emails, to-dos, social media, and other stimuli that often creates a feeling of stress and anxiety. There is no question that the COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to increased feelings of uneasiness. Additional stressors in the form of a potential job loss, or the overwhelming balance of continuing to work while finding time to be there for our families are the reality for many. Instead of being bogged down by these emotions, what if, instead, you felt grounded and calm? You felt a deep sense of connection and trust?

 

Join Annalisa for a 3-week Meditation Series that is suitable for EVERYONE! The exercises in this workshop will be accessible for all, giving you the tools to use these practices whenever needed. Meditation can be channeled in many ways, and we are excited to gather a community of like-minded people together to share in the gift of this practice. Annalisa will guide you through various breathing exercises, meditations centered on imagery and intention, as well body scans, just to name a few. If you've been looking for the time to quiet your mind, ease any feelings of anxiety, and ultimately learn the art of presence, now is the time!

 

Starting your morning with meditation can become the foundation of your day, something you can always rely on to bring you to a sense of calmness, in body and mind. Taking the time right when you wake up makes building the habit easier and the support of meditating with others can enliven and strengthen your practice.
